Hailing from West Covina, CA, a suburb of Los Angeles, Trek Life is well known for his aggressive delivery, thought provoking lyrics, energetic show and ill DJ sets. His skills have given him the opportunity to work with a variety of talented producers and emcees such as Babu, Evidence, Oddisee, Kev Brown, Bishop Lamont, and DJ Khalil as well as host & DJ with QuestLove, Jazzy Jeff, Rhettmatic, and Cerritos All-Stars. As Myspace's official LA host Trek Life has also opened, hosted and DJed for Nas, TI & many more. Trek Life's debut album Price I've Paid garnered accolades from a multitude of industry websites, magazines and blogs while allowing him the opportunity to tour the world from Seattle to Germany.. Songs from the album were featured on popular MTV shows such as The Hills, and G's to Gents. Price I've Paid was then remixed by DC's own Oddisee and released in Japan and the US (Mello Music Group) under the names All Times and New Money respectively. With the highly anticipated release of his second LP Everything Changed Nothing (Mello Music Group & Oddisee Music) in July of 2010, Trek is poised to leave a Timeless mark on Hip Hop. Produced by Oddisee (Diamond District), except track 6 produced by Hudson Mohawke (Warp Records) Features by Olivier Daysoul (4Lux), Oddisee, Audio Live, Ralph Real, J.Bizness, Skeem Price and DJ Buddy on the cuts!
